TransTech Systems, a subsidiary of Visualant, Signs Distribution Contract with AssureTec

(OTCBB: VSUL), a pioneer provider of industry-leading color based identification and diagnostic solutions, an emerging leader in security and authentication systems technology and distributor of a wide variety of security solutions through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TransTech Systems, Inc., is pleased to announce the signing of a distribution contract with AssureTec Technologies, Inc. for their complete line of authentication software and hardware.

AssureTec’s software, hardware and document database solutions have been selected for security applications globally. High-resolution scanners, paired with the most comprehensive fraud detection software, can spot the indicators of a counterfeit ID invisible to the naked eye. Their patented technology applies forensic document-specific tests, virtually eliminates manual screening errors and speeds the document inspection process. AssureTec’s software platform and document database authenticates any of over 2,500 different identity document types worldwide and will assess the validity of IDs without operator intervention.
